Mohammadreza Golzar to host competition game for TV

Iranian star Mohammadreza Golzar is slated to host a TV show for Iran's IRIB.

Golzar will lead a competition game show for Iran's TV for the first time as a host.

The show aims to improve book reading between the Iranians.

Born in 1975, Mohammad-Reza Golzar has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Islamic Azad University.

He first gained fame as a guitarist in Aryan, a popular music band.

He made his cinematic debut with Iraj Qaderi’s 'Sam and Narges' (2000).

Golzar gained a nation-wide fame as an actor with movies such as 'The Last Supper' (2001), 'Poisonous Honey' (2002), 'Coma' (2003), 'Boutique' (2003), and 'Ice Flower' (2004).

Then he has acted in blockbusters such as 'Ceasefire' (2005), 'Flying Crow' (2007), 'Crazy for Leili' (2007), 'Six and Five' (2010), 'You and I' (2011), 'Atomic-Heart Mother' (2014), 'Hello Mumbai' (2015) and 'Wing Mirror' (2017).

He has also appeared in series such as 'Made in Iran' (2011) and 'Love is not Closed' (2014).
